The aim of this workshop, organised by the Department of Evidence-based Medicine and Clinical Epidemiology in cooperation with Cochrane Austria, is firstly to impart the theoretical and methodical background that is necessary for the critical evaluation of clinical studies, and secondly, to give workshop participants the practical experience in the critical evaluation of studies. This workshop is for everyone who reads published medical studies and wants to assess their credibility and validity.
